Ample free parking is available on the airport grounds. Look for the Plane Pull parking signs off Rudder Road. Shuttle buses then will take you from the parking lot to the festival entrance.
Where do we go once we arrive?
Volunteers and teams may enter through gate 116 at the far end of Cargo Building 6. Volunteer and team check in will be situated at this gate.
Shuttle buses will be circling the parking lot and picking up passengers at the marked bus stops for the short ride to the main festival entrance.
Vendors/Exhibitors/Car Show participants may enter the festival with their vehicles at gate 118 (between Cargo Buildings 5 and 6). Vendor and Car Show check in will be situated at this gate.
If we plan to stay overnight, what hotels are nearby?
The event hotel partners are the Washington Dulles Marriott, located on the airport grounds, and the Westin Washington Dulles Airport, just a short distance away.
If I’m flying in to display my aircraft, what details do I need to know?
Pilots can register their aircraft by e-mailing the General Aviation Coordinator Dennis Boykin. Please include your aircraft type, N number, and your contact information in the e-mail, and we'll send an e-mail confirmation in return.
Dulles International Airport lies within the National Capitol Region SFRA, so please plan accordingly. ATC will be aware of the arrival schedule. You’ll need to arrive between 8-9:30 am, EST, and we ask that you stay until the event’s end at 4 pm. Early departures can be coordinated, but if you can stay until 4 pm, it's much appreciated.
